Marc-Antoine Pelletier
Founder and lead editor. Former radio producer at CFLX. He handles most interview-format shows and does all final mastering.
Objective Audios started in 2019 when our founder, Marc-Antoine Pelletier, was producing a history podcast from his spare bedroom. The recording quality was fine, but the editing ate his weekends. He figured other hosts had the same problem. So he offered to edit a few shows for friends, charged enough to cover his software subscription, and word spread.
By early 2021 we had five regular clients and a proper studio space on Queen Spur. The room is small: 14 by 10 feet, treated with rockwool panels and a floating floor. It does the job well. Remote recording sessions now account for about 60 percent of our work, but the studio stays busy with local creators who prefer to record in person.
We are still a small operation on purpose. Three full-time people, two regular freelancers. That keeps the communication direct: you talk to the person who actually edits your episode, not a project manager relaying notes.
We have a few principles that shape how we work. They are not slogans on a wall; they are habits we actually follow when making decisions about your show.
Three of us work on your episodes full time. We also bring in freelance sound designers and translators when a project needs it.
